TEMPORARY LABORER
THE PASS is an adult-use recreational cannabis business led by experienced entrepreneurs from the spirits, cannabis and marketing industries. We are located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts’ southernmost town of Sheffield.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Laborer to assist with the dismantling and closure of an existing cultivation facility. The primary responsibility of this position will be performing hands-on physical labor to remove equipment, materials, fixtures, and other items from the facility and prepare the location for turnover.

This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to lift, carry, move, disassemble, clean, and organize materials throughout the workday. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working in an industrial environment, and willing to perform a variety of manual labor tasks as needed.

This is a temporary position expected to last approximately six (6) weeks. The assignment is specifically intended to support the dismantling and decommissioning of the cultivation facility. Continued employment beyond the six-week assignment is not guaranteed.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Assist with the dismantling and decommissioning of an existing cultivation facility.
  • Disassemble, remove, and relocate equipment, fixtures, shelving, tables, irrigation components, and other facility materials.
  • Safely move, carry, load, and organize materials and equipment.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, equipment, and debris.
  • Break down and remove materials using basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, instructions, and facility protocols.
  • Assist other team members with general labor and facility-related tasks as needed.
  • All other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
  • Previous experience in construction, warehouse, facility maintenance, landscaping, farm work, manufacturing, or other physically demanding work preferred.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and willingness to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to safety and quality.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools is a plus.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to meet all shift requirements with regularity, predictability and consistency.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
  • Working Indoor and outdoors.
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
  • Work on your feet for the majority of the shift.
  • Repeatedly lift, move, push, pull, and carry materials and equipment.
  • Safely use basic hand tools and equipment as required.
